Lipid Newsletter June 2010: 5th Plant Lipids Meeting in Gdansk
Dear
Colleagues,
At the last European Symposium on Plant
Lipids in Göttingen it was decided that the 5th meeting of the Euro Fed
Lipid divison "Plant Lipids" will be held in Gdansk, Poland. From that
time, the local Organising committee was established and the Congress
venue has been selected. The Symposium will take place in the Scandic
Hotel in the city centre of Gdansk from 10th of
July to 13th of July, 2011. A more detailed program
will be distributed in the autumn at
the congress webpage.
Beside the expected
excellent scientific presentations, the old hansa town Gdansk will
offer you a beautiful historic environment. Gdansk is also the place
where the new era for Europe was born with the creation of Solidarity
under the leadership of Lech Walesa, which led to the fall of the iron
curtain and the formation of a united Europe. Close to Gdansk is the
seaside resort Sopot, with miles of sandy beaches and hundreds of
restaurants and cafés. A few miles further, you find the interesting
modern city of Gdynia (created during 1920th). Thus, these three very
close cities form a unique collection of different attraction for
visitors with various interests.

applications are already being accepted from exhibitors interested in
taking part.

organiser, Messe München GmbH, is expecting the event to attract around
