The
European Federation for the Science and Technology of Lipids (Euro Fed
Lipid) would like to invite you to present your company at its
Oils,
Fats and Lipids: Health & Nutrition, Chemistry & Energy, 21-24
November 2010, Munich.
Euro Fed Lipid, today an international
federation of 11 national Oils and Fats associations from different
European countries, and still expanding, is involved in the European
trade fair "Oils+Fats", until 2009 a yearly event organized in Munich
by the Messe Munich. To reply better to the needs and demands of the
Oils and Fats industry, this Oils and Fats exhibition will continue
from 2011 as a bi-annual trade fair, thereby skipping the 2010 trade
fair.
In order to allow industry to present its latest
technologies and services, Euro Fed Lipid is offering the industry the
possibility to rent a table top at the Euro Fed Lipid conference in
Munich. This annual conference offers also a good forum for exchanging
ideas and remaining up to date of new and future developments and
furthermore gives industry the chance to become scientifically more
visible. Euro Fed Lipid and its member associations would really
welcome a more active presence of the industry, to enhance interaction
with the different scientific associations.
I would therefore
like to ask especially the industry to consider an active presence at
this conference and/or support Euro Fed Lipid by applying for a

The
preliminary lecture programme will now soon be available online at the
congress
webpage. The submission of lecture abstracts is no longer possible, but
poster abstracts are welcome until November 2010. Authors will receive
confirmation letters by the end of May. If you require assistance to
obtain a visa do not hesitate in contacting the headquarters.
To
avoid No-Shows and gaps in the lecture programme we kindly ask authors
to register for the congress to confirm their participation.
The
printed programme is currently being designed and printed. We hope to
finalise the mailing by early June.
However, we recommend that you
register online, which is already possible. Please note that the
congress webpage also contains information regarding accommodation and
travel. Lufthansa, official airline of the congress, offers special
rates for delegates.

FC Bayern Munich is best known
for its professional football team, which is the most successful club
in German football, having won 21 German titles and 14 cups.
Since
the beginning of the 2005/06 season, Bayern plays its home games in the
Allianz Arena. Previously the team had played for 33 years in the
Olympic Stadium. The team colours are red and white, and the team crest
shows the colours of Bavaria.
Bayern is a
membership-based club with more than 152,000 members.There are also
more than 2,500 officially-registered fan clubs with about 181,700
members.The club has other departments for chess, handball, basketball,
gymnastics, bowling, table tennis, referees, and senior football with
more than 1,100 active members.
Bayern signed
manager Louis Van Gaal for the 2009/10 season from AZ of Alkmaar. While
under speculation due to a strand of poor results, Van Gaal managed to
advance Bayern through to the round of 16 with a convincing 4/1 display
over Juventus FC in Turin.
They drew Fiorentina as their
opponent in the round of 16 in the Champions League.On March 9, they
lost to Fiorentina 3-2 but advanced to the quarter-final on the away
goals rule. In the quarter-final clash against Manchester United,
Bayern achieved a similar score to their Fiorentina games, edging
United 4-4 and progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League on
away goals, with them winning 2-1 at home and losing 3-2 away.
On
the 27th of April, Bayern beat Olympique Lyonnais 3-0 after winning 1-0
in the first leg. That result sent 'FC Bayern' to the UEFA Champions
League Final 2009-10, which is scheduled for 22 May in Madrid.
