European Federation for the Science and Technology of Lipids (Euro Fed Lipid)

Membership:

Individual and corporate members of the following societies are considered full members of the European Federation:

• Association Française pour l' Etude des Corps Gras (AFECG), France
• Czech Chemical Society, Working Group "Fats, Detergents and Cosmetic Chemistry", Czech Republic
• Deutsche Gesellschaft für Fettwissenschaft (DGF), Germany
• The Dutch Oils & Fats Group, The Netherlands, in co-operation with Koninklijke Nederlandse Chemische Vereniging (KNCV)
• GERLI, Groupe d'Etude et de Recherche sur les Lipides et les Lipoprotéins, France
• Greek Lipid Forum
• Hungarian Scientific Society for Food Industry (METE), Vegetable Oil Division
• Nordic Forum for Lipid Research and Technology (Lipidforum)
• Polish Food Technologists Society, Oils & Fats Section, Poland
• Societá Italiana per lo Studio delle Sostanze Grasse (SISSG), Italy
  
• Society of Chemical Industry (SCI, Oils & Fats Group) UK

All other individuals and companies devoted to the science and technology of Fats, Oils and Lipids (not only from Europe!) may wish to join the European Federation directly by becoming an individual or corporate member.

The membership fees for those are

Individual Members: 80 Euro/Year

Corporate Members: 350 Euro/Year

Retired / Students: 40 Euro/Year

To encourage the membership of scientists from countries with developing economies we offer special rates. Details are available on request (Frank Amoneit, amoneit@eurofedlipid.org).

Benefits for Members:

• Members participate in a pan-european network
• Reduced fees for subscriptions of the European Journal (130 Euro/Year for individual members) and for the DGF standard methods.
• Reduced fees for Euro Fed Lipid congresses
• Member conditions for the annual Ringtest of Fat Analysis
