The DHA/EPA Omega 3 Institute Dr.
Bruce Holub, University Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Sciences at
the University of Guelph co-founded The DHA/EPA Omega-3 Institute as a
means of informing and educating both the public and health
professionals regarding the physiologically-essential omega-3 fatty
acids as DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) as well as EPA (Eicosapentaenoic
acid) for human health. Special features of this website include
video lectures and audio files plus regular research updates.

Fed Lipid is currently looking for volunteers, who are able and ready
to give additional input to this impressive resource. Volunteers should
provide some new content or have responsibility for commissioning it.
There is no obligation whatsoever.
Bill Christie says:
"I have produced about 50 articles on the website dealing with
the chemistry and biochemistry of lipids, which are aimed at about
undergraduate level - hoping to provide something for interest for students
in many disciplines, such as chemistry, biochemistry, food science,
nutrition, etc. It might be of value to select topics at a more advanced
level for a new section that could in effect be similar to one of the
Current Topics journals, with the great advantage that any articles produced
can be updated from time to time. Or, we could begin a series of articles
dealing with physical chemistry say, or lipid oxidation, where I have no
expertise. Of course, these are merely suggestions, and I would be happy to
learn what others think."
Volunteers are asked to contact Bill Christie directly to get additional information.
